Joy of Independence Day-Huda Nawaz-5 A

I celebrated 14th August, Pakistan’s Independence Day, at home with my family and friends. We decorated the house with green and white flags, balloons, and ribbons. I wore green and white clothes to show my love for my country. My family and I spent the day together, enjoying the celebrations and having fun.
During the day, we joined different activities. We sang patriotic songs, recited short poems about Pakistan, and played fun games. We also shared sweets and took pictures to remember the day. The house looked very bright and colorful with all the decorations, and it made everyone feel happy.
I felt very excited and proud during the celebration. Watching the fireworks in the evening was one of the most enjoyable parts. It was amazing to see the sky full of lights, and it made the day feel even more special. Spending time with my family and friends made me feel loved and happy.
Independence Day is very important to me because it reminds me of the heroes who worked hard for our country. It is a day to feel proud of being Pakistani and to remember how lucky we are to live in Pakistan. Celebrating with my family and friends makes me feel connected to my country and its people. I always look forward to 14th August, and it is a day that fills my heart with joy, pride, and love for Pakistan.
