Taking care of our teeth and mouth is called oral hygiene. It is very important because it helps keep our teeth clean, strong, and healthy. We should brush our teeth twice a day, use a toothbrush and toothpaste, and visit the dentist regularly. Good oral hygiene prevents tooth decay, bad breath, and gum diseases.
Exercise is also very important for our body. It helps us stay fit, active, and happy. When we exercise, our muscles and bones become stronger, and our heart stays healthy. Exercise also helps us to sleep better and concentrate in class.
How Some Illnesses Are Spread
Some illnesses are spread because of unhygienic conditions and factors in the environment. For example:
Dirty water can spread diseases like cholera and typhoid.
Unclean surroundings attract mosquitoes, which can cause malaria or dengue.
Polluted air can cause cough, asthma, or breathing problems.
Not washing hands before eating can spread germs and make people sick.
To stay healthy, we must keep our environment clean, wash our hands regularly, drink clean water, and eat healthy food.
