At Beaconhouse Jinnah Campus, we believe that mental well-being is just as important as academic success. To promote mindfulness, creativity, and emotional expression, we kicked off Mental Health Week with a unique music and art therapy session for students of Classes 3, 4, and 5.
The activity began with students immersing themselves in soothing melodies, allowing their thoughts to flow freely onto paper. Armed with art pads and writing tools, they translated their emotions into vibrant drawings and creative writing, expressing their inner worlds in a safe and supportive environment. This engaging session encouraged students to embrace self-expression, relaxation, and mindfulness—key aspects of mental well-being.
But that wasn’t all! The day also featured guided relaxation exercises, helping students unwind and connect with their emotions. Through these activities, they learned how art and music can be powerful tools for stress relief and self-care.
By integrating therapeutic activities into the school environment, we aim to instill a lifelong understanding of mental health awareness. Encouraging students to explore their emotions through creativity helps them build resilience, confidence, and a deeper sense of self.
As Mental Health Week continues, we look forward to more engaging activities, discussions, and mindfulness practices, ensuring that our students develop a holistic approach to well-being.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this meaningful journey!
