Today was a very special day at my school because we had our Investiture Ceremony. Early in the morning, we first practiced our march past. Everyone lined up neatly and marched with confidence.![]()
Soon, the parents arrived and took their seats. Next, the school choir beautifully sang the National Anthem, and the ceremony officially began. After that, we started the march past. I noticed a girl capturing pictures on her own phone—everyone wanted to save these proud moments!
Once the march past was over, we sat in our places. Ma’am then told us to raise our hands and take the oath. We repeated every word with honesty and pride, promising to fulfill our duties responsibly.
Finally, the choir sang another wonderful song, and the most exciting part began—the badge ceremony! Ma’am Dure Najaf and Ms. Neha came on stage and gave badges to all the student council. They also placed sashes on the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, and Deputy Head Girl. Everyone clapped loudly and celebrated their achievement.
After the ceremony, we returned to our classes happily. We enjoyed the day a lot. Some students even went home early with their parents before the official time because it was such an important event.
It was truly a memorable day filled with pride, joy, and responsibility!
