One hot summer day, a thirsty crow was flying over the village. He saw a jar with a little water, but his beak could not reach it. The crow tried to push the jar, but it was too heavy.
The clever crow thought carefully. He picked up small stones and dropped them into the jar one by one. Slowly, the water rose, and the crow could drink it. He drank happily and felt very proud of his idea.
The other birds watched him and learned from his cleverness. They realized that thinking carefully and trying new ideas can solve even difficult problems. The crow became known as the smartest bird in the village.
