Habit 5, Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood, teaches me to listen before I speak, and this habit helps me become a kinder and better person every day. When I take time to really listen to my friends, teachers, and family, I understand their feelings and problems more clearly. This makes me more patient and respectful. Instead of getting angry quickly or interrupting others, I try to stay calm and pay attention to what they are saying. By listening first, I avoid misunderstandings and solve problems peacefully. People trust me more because they know I care about their thoughts. Habit 5 helps me build stronger friendships, make better decisions, and become someone who spreads kindness and positivity around. This is why listening is one of the most powerful habits to grow as a good human being.
