The blessed month of Ramadan began with prayers and heartfelt devotion at Beaconhouse Jinnah Campus. The school was filled with an atmosphere of faith and gratitude as students from toddlers to Grade 5 actively participated in the Mujda-e-Ramadan program. The event featured beautiful recitations of the Holy Quran, Hamd and Naat performances, and inspiring Ahadith sharing, making it a truly uplifting experience for all.
This first Ashra is known as the Ashra of Mercy, a time when Allahโs blessings shower upon us, and hearts are filled with compassion and gratitude. The childrenโs excitement and enthusiasm were a sight to behold as they embraced the essence of Ramadan with devotion and joy. Their sparkling eyes and cheerful smiles reflected their eagerness to learn and practice the values of kindness, patience, and generosity during this sacred month.
One of the highlights of the event was the heartwarming discussion where students eagerly shared their experiences of fasting (Roza) for the first time. They talked about how they prepared for Sehri with their families, the challenges of fasting throughout the day, and the joy of breaking their fast at Iftar with delicious traditional dishes. Some shared their excitement about helping their parents set the table, making fruit chaat, and distributing food to neighbors and those in need.From soulful recitations to meaningful reflections, the event reinforced the importance of Ramadan in young hearts, encouraging them to engage in acts of kindness, help those in need, and strengthen their connection with Allah. Teachers and students alike shared prayers for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan, fostering a sense of unity and love within the school
community.
