22-2-22-A ubiquitous date that comes just once in over a decade! It’s a palindrome which means it is read the same forwards and backwards. This exceptional date fell on a Tuesday and was referred to as Twosday.
This has only happened twice before with 1/11/11 and 11/11/11, and the next one will occur in 11 years, as Threesday-3/3/33-but there’s no weekday to match it.
On Tuesday, 22nd February 2022, Primary Campus Jauhar celebrated Two’s Day with great enthusiasm. Some activities that took place are as follows:
- Twinning on Tuesday
Teachers dressed up alike in pairs, just the way twins do.
- Guess Who’s Two?
A wall display was put up with pictures of Faculty members from when they were two years old. All colleagues made guesses to suggest who was who by putting up sticky notes against each picture.

To mark the occasion, the students participated with great zeal in activities such as Sing a Duet, Draw with the Number 2, Wear different pairs of Socks, Write a paragraph using 22 words, Write Compound Words, Add 222 to, Read page number 22 and underline all nouns and verbs, Bring 2 Healthy Food Items for lunch, Draw with a Pair, Write 2 Facts and Opinions about 22-2-22 and many others!
Twos Day was a great opportunity for the students to know about the rarity and uniqueness of this date, and reinforce many educational concepts in a fun way. Its next occurrence won’t be until the next millennium and all we can say is that we two-ly (truly) enjoyed it !
Stay two-ned (tuned) for more exciting updates from JPC.
