Beaconhouse School System, Primary Campus Jauhar organized the school concert “Talentathon Season 2-A Performing Arts Fiests” for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and Middle School students to give them an opportunity to showcase their unique talents and to boost their confidence.
The program was held on 30th and 31st March, 2022 at the Yasmeen Aqeel Auditoriumat Beaconhouse School System, PECHS Campus. Headmistress Jauhar KG-II Miss Nousheen Obaid, Headmistress Jauhar Campus Dr. Nadia Rashid and Headmistress Jauhar KG-I Miss Narjis graced the event with their presence as the chief guests.
The show commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the national anthem on both days, which was sung with great zeal and enthusiasm by the audiences as they looked forward to welcome the students in huge rounds of applauses.
The event was truly diverse in nature as it included performances not just in English but in Urdu too, and emphasized on promoting the rich culture of Pakistan through Cultural Shows and tableaus on patriotic music and folk songs.
A colourful and vibrant display of visual arts was put forth as the students flaunted their meticulously crafted costumes and presented impeccably in front of the audiences. It won’t be wrong to say that the event was a colossal success, as a result of the utmost dedication and hard work of the students, teachers and the management of Primary Campus, Jauhar.
There were a number of reenactments of popular English tales, such as
Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Pied Piper, The Twelve Dancing Princesses and Alice in Wonderland.
The visual arts performances included
Hand Tutting (Murmuration), Zombie Dance, Chinese Dance, Umbrella Dance, Electrical Dance Performances and many others.
Important societal issues such as Saving Water, Child Labour and Saving Trees were highlighted through mimes, where the students only used gestures, expressions and movements to convey the message.
Humour was a main element was of the show and had the guests in fits of laughter. Some most loved performances were the Shock Show, Not Enough Parachutes, Genie in Pakistan, Mobile Mania, Mind Your Language and Aliens on Planet earth.
