Beaconhouse School System – Jauhar Primary Campus

At Beaconhouse Jauhar Primary, we strongly believe that every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported within the school environment. To strengthen this belief and empower our students to take an active role in maintaining a caring school culture, we proudly introduce our Student Protection & Safeguarding (SPS) Ambassadors 2025!

Why We Need SPS Ambassadors

Children spend a large part of their day at school, and it is essential that they learn to identify, respond to, and report situations that may make them or others feel unsafe. The SPS Ambassadors act as bridge-builders between students and teachers, helping to ensure that every voice is heard, every concern is addressed, and that kindness and respect are at the heart of our community.

By having these ambassadors among their peers, students learn that safety and care are shared responsibilities, not just the role of adults. It also helps promote a culture of empathy, confidence, and mutual respect across the campus.

The Selection Process

Becoming an SPS Ambassador is both an honour and a responsibility. Students who display qualities of leadership, reliability, compassion, and integrity are identified and nominated by their peers.

  • They undergo awareness sessions where they learn about:
  • The importance of student protection and safeguarding.
  • How to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Steps to take if someone approaches them with a concern.
  • The importance of confidentiality and sensitivity.

After completing this orientation, the selected students proudly receive their SPS badges, symbolising their dedication to upholding safety and respect within our school.

Roles and Responsibilities

Our SPS Ambassadors play a vital role throughout the school year. Their key duties include:

  • Promoting awareness about personal safety, anti-bullying, and respectful behaviour.
  • Supporting classmates by being approachable and trustworthy listeners.
  • Reporting any safeguarding concerns responsibly to a trusted adult or the school’s safeguarding team.
  • Encouraging others to treat everyone with kindness, fairness, and empathy.
  • Participating in campaigns and assemblies that promote safe and positive school culture.

Through these actions, they become role models who inspire others to make responsible choices and care for one another.

Our Pride and Promise

The induction of our SPS Ambassadors is not just a ceremony, it’s a celebration of trust, awareness, and leadership. Each badge worn represents a promise:

  • A promise to protect.
  • A promise to respect.
  • A promise to make Beaconhouse Jauhar Primary a place where every student feels safe to learn, grow, and shine.

We congratulate our newly appointed SPS Ambassadors 2025 and look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make in fostering a safe, caring, and inclusive school environment.

Together, we stand for Protection, Respect, and Well-being! 💙
