There is a special kind of magic in the air at Beaconhouse Jauhar Primary Campus right now. If you walk through our corridors this week, you’ll immediately feel an unmistakable spark of excitement buzzing in every corner! The usual cheerful chatter has taken on a whole new rhythm; one of enthusiastic speeches, vibrant banners, and bright young minds eager to make a difference.

That’s right! Election Season has officially arrived at JPC!

Our senior students are stepping up to claim their moment in the spotlight. Grade 6 students have their eyes set on the prestigious roles of Head Boy, Head Girl, and House Captains for our four legendary houses: Markhor (Red), Dolphin (Blue), Eagle (Green), and the fierce Yellow Leopards! Meanwhile, our Grade 5 dynamic leaders are vying for Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, and Vice Captains.

The whole campus is alive with anticipation, and the journey to the ballot box has been nothing short of extraordinary!

Phase 1: A Digital Spark of Ambition

It all began with a simple notification popping up on Google Classroom. An interest form was shared, inviting aspiring leaders to throw their hats into the ring. Within hours, the responses started pouring in! It was incredible to see so many young, passionate students eagerly stepping forward, ready to embrace responsibility and serve their school community.

Phase 2: Section-by-Section Interviews & The First Cut

Then came the high-stakes phase! Section by section, nominees were called in for individual panel interviews conducted by our Student Council teacher members.

You could see the focus and determination on the candidates’ faces as they answered tough questions, shared their visions, and proved their readiness. The panel applied a strict set of criteria, carefully shortlisting only those who showed true dedication, strong communication, and authentic leadership potential.

Phase 3: Meeting the Senior Leadership Team

For those who made the shortlist, the next step was the ultimate test; a face-to-face interview with our Senior Leadership Team, including our Headmistress and Principal!

This wasn’t just about grades or speeches; it was a holistic evaluation of the whole student. The leadership team analyzed each candidate’s critical thinking, general school performance, positive mindset, and genuine desire to bring light to JPC. When the final selection was complete and the official nominees were announced, the cheers could practically be heard across the entire neighbourhood!

Phase 4: A Burst of Color, Symbols, and Class-to-Class Campaigns!

With the final nominees lock in, JPC exploded into a kaleidoscope of colors, ideas, and pure creative energy! Nominees rallied their campaign teams, grabbed their art supplies, and got to work.

Walk down the hallways today, and you’ll see stunning, hand-crafted posters featuring bold campaign symbols chosen by the candidates themselves: shining crowns, proud medals, sharp targets, rising phoenixes, dazzling diamonds, and bright stars!

Accompanied by their cheering campaign members, nominees have been visiting classrooms section by section. They’ve shared their manifestos, answered questions from eager lower-graders, and demonstrated remarkable discipline, sportsmanship, and respect every single step of the way. The atmosphere is electric, colorful, and wildly inspiring!

The Final Stretch: One Person, One Vote!

Now, the bustling campaign trails are wrapping up, and we are heading into the grand finale: Voting Day!

In true modern fashion, students will cast their votes through an online, highly confidential digital system. Operating under the sacred democratic principle of “one person, one vote,” every single student will have an equal voice in choosing who will represent them this year.

More Than Badges; It’s the Heart of JPC

Win or lose, this election season has reminded us of what makes JPC so special. It’s not just about who wears the sash or gets the title; it’s about watching our young learners step out of their comfort zones with courage, enthusiasm, and integrity. It’s about classmates supporting classmates, learning what true democracy feels like, and building memories that will last a lifetime.

To all our incredible nominees: you have already made us immensely proud. Your energy, bright ideas, and dedication have filled our campus with unmatched joy.

May the best leaders win. We can’t wait to see who takes the stage next!
