Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract (CPA) is an effective approach for teaching that offers a sustainable and deep understanding of mathematics to the students. It helps learners understand concepts meaningfully (CPA Approach, n.d.). In order to enlighten our parents of Early Years and Primary with this approach, a workshop was organized by teachers of Grade KG-V which involved interactive presentation, hands-on activities to instill the purpose of CPA stages using various manipulatives like base10, counters, straws, and ice-cream sticks along with fruitful discussions to develop conceptual understanding. With reference to rising star textbooks parents were also provided with questions to solve while applying the CPA approach.
