The Global Dignity Day was celebrated by teachers and students of Beaconhouse School System Stadium Campus, Gulshan with enthusiasm. The day is celebrated to make everyone living in this world realize that they have rights and deserve respect in every aspect.
The purpose of celebrating this day was to highlight the fact that all people poor or rich and all occupations/jobs are bound to equal amounts of respect and have the same importance.
Our young energetic students of Grade IV organized a special assembly for this purpose, during which students depicted a roleplay to share the perspective that people who are not rich also maintain lives worth respecting.
Students of Grade I also arranged a lunch for school support staff to highlight their equality and importance. Students of different levels wrote poems highlighting the importance and principles of dignity, made honor badges, bouquets, and cards which they distributed to people in their community.
The event helped a great deal in teaching the importance of dignity in our daily life to the students.
