A visit to the State Bank Museum
Students of class V’s went to the State Bank Museum, Karachi today i.e. 16th November 2021. They visited various sections of the museum including the Coin Gallery, Currency Gallery, Governors Gallery and Stamp Gallery. They enjoyed visiting the Sadeqain Gallery where they saw master pieces of Calligraphy, paintings, metal collages and pencil sketches made by Sadeqain between 1950’s to 1980’s. They also watched a documentary video on how coins are manufactured. Later they went to the souvenir shop and bought key chains. They were given compressed shredded currency as a complementary gift in the end.
