Cheers, Colours and Classroom Fun: Juniper Campus Quetta in Action

If you had walked through Juniper Campus Quetta in recent weeks, you would have noticed something different in the air. Chanting from the playground, rehearsals in the corridors, and classrooms where students were too busy doing things to sit quietly at their desks. This year, our in-house competitions and co-curricular activities were held across the whole school, from the youngest classes to the senior students, and every part of our campus took part with real enthusiasm.

Four Houses, One Big Contest

Our students are divided into four houses: Dolphins, Leopards, Eagles and Markhors. Each house turned up with its own colours, its own slogans and a lot of determination.

The competitions were not limited to sports. There were races and team games for the energetic ones, but also quizzes, debates, recitation, art and creative presentations for those who prefer to shine with their minds and voices. Many students discovered they were good at something they had never tried before.

Of course everyone wanted their house to win. But the moments people talked about afterwards were smaller ones: a Dolphin cheering for a Markhor who ran a great race, an Eagle who lost a quiz round and still shook hands with the winners, a Leopard who stayed back to help tidy up after the event. That is the kind of behaviour we hope to see, and our students showed it well.

More Than Just the Syllabus

Alongside the house competitions, students took part in a range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Some spoke on stage for the first time. Some picked up a paintbrush or a pen and found a hobby they now look forward to. Others took on the job of organising their team, keeping everyone on time and solving problems on the spot.

Balancing practice sessions with homework and tests was not always easy, but it taught many of them how to manage their time. These activities also showed us that a student’s talent is not always visible in a report card.

Learning Through Doing in the Classroom

The fun was not left outside the classroom door. Teachers planned activities in every subject, and the students clearly enjoyed them.

In English, students acted out scenes, told stories and wrote creatively. In Mathematics, puzzles and group challenges made problem solving feel like a game. Science classes had simple experiments where students could watch, ask questions and work out the answers themselves. Social Studies brought map work, discussions and presentations that made history and geography feel closer to real life. In Urdu, recitation and conversation activities let students enjoy their own language and literature. Art and Computer Studies gave them room to design, create and try out new tools.

There was a lot of teamwork, a lot of questions and plenty of laughter. When students enjoy a lesson, they remember it, and that is exactly what these activities were meant to do.

Thank You

This was a school-wide effort, and it would not have happened without our teachers, house in-charges and support staff, who spent many hours planning, organising and guiding. Thank you as well to the parents who encouraged their children to take part. And to our students, well done. You gave your best and made Juniper Campus Quetta proud.

What Comes Next

This is only the beginning. More competitions and activities are planned for the coming months, so keep practising and keep supporting your house.

Dolphins, Leopards, Eagles and Markhors: whatever the final points table says, you all did great.
