\n\t\t\t\tStudents showcasing their the photos they submitted in the contest as per the themes assigned to their levels. \n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nGlobal Dignity Day is an annual celebration observed on the third Wednesday of October in order to make everyone realize that each citizen has their rights and deserves respect. Students of Beaconhouse Gulshan Middle-1 celebrated “Global Dignity Day” with great zeal to uplift the sense of humanity, integrity, and sincerity among them. In the spirit of Global Dignity Day, various activities were planned for students to experience dignity-in-action within their communities and feel empowered to make a difference.<\/p>\n
These activities included Photography Contests<\/i><\/b>, Serving Breakfast to the Support and Junior staff<\/i><\/b>, and making Artwork for the Dignity Wall<\/i><\/b> at school.<\/p>\n
The Inter-class Photography Contest encouraged students to bring up their own innovative, versatile ideas and present them with thematic photographs.This contest was later judged by an alumni of BSS, Mr. Ahad Khalid and the participants were provided certificates. Through this activity, not only their photography skills were improved but they were also able to showcase their thoughts in the form of durable images while expressing their gratitude towards the support staff by serving breakfast and distributing flowers among them also inculcated in them the quality of being humble and kind. Moreover, selection of Dignity Ambassadors from each class made students responsible for initiating, promoting and coordinating Dignity activities throughout the academic year which gave rise to a feeling of empowerment in them. Students also voiced their creative opinions on Dignity Day in the form of advisory posters and slogans where their excellent artworks depicted the unifying value and universal rights of every individual. To acknowledge students’ contributions, their artistic easels were exhibited on the “Dignity Wall”.<\/p>\n
The ceremonial celebration of these activities made sure that our students become aware of the purpose of this day and demonstrate humanity and equality through their behavior in order to make our society a better place to live.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
