Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day was celebrated all across the nation on 14th August 2022 where people showcased their love for the country through various mediums. Some people wore white and green clothes to exhibit their patriotism while others planted trees and wrote motivating messages on social media in order to awaken the nation. Beaconhouse School System Gulshan Middle-I also hosted a celebration for Pakistan’s 75th year of Freedom. The event was held to appreciate and celebrate the country’s independence. The celebration was evidently filled with patriotism and passion.
Students expressed their love for Pakistan by dressing up in beautiful colours of the flag, green and white. The staff had done an applaudable job at decorating the school ground with balloons and flags of all sizes. The entirety of the students started beaming with joy and excitement when the Independence Day event started off with the national anthem of Pakistan. All sections presented a three minute presentation, each, which included melodious national songs, some made the viewers laugh with their comedy drama, some entertained the audience by performing a tableau while some delivered thought-provoking speeches. The lively energy given off, by both teachers and students, during the program indicated their pride of being a Pakistani. The event took place for three hours and then, the classes resumed.
The event hosted by Gulshan Middle-I portrayed an important lesson. A lesson to be grateful and thankful to our ancestors, who willingly sacrificed their wealthy possessions, including their lives, for the formation of this land of purity.
