The word dignity is commonly misused for discipline only. However, this word has a vast array of meanings. Dignity is faith in yourself, modesty, empathy, sympathy, courtesy, equality, and even diversity and inclusion. Dignity is realizing differences, respecting opinions, standing as one, and facing the consequences as one team. Dignity is portraying yourself as humble, esteemed, and compassionate and showing yourself worthy of trust and honor. Dignity is a salient quality as it justifies human rights and prevents hostilities on the basis of customs and traditions. If you want to have an ire personality, be kind and chivalrous, have an air of dignity, be down to earth and modest. Respect important virtues and feel what others are feeling. Sympathize with them and show compassion and make them feel that, yes! You are someone who can be trusted. I truly agree with the quote of -Michael J. Fox. “One’s dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless it is surrendered.” Having a sense of dignity and knowing how to value others will develop a strong sense of faith in a human character.
