Winter is an exceptional season, it is the idle hour where you enjoy the most promising moments with your companions. To cherish the splendors of winter and the transition towards spring, Beaconhouse Gulshan Middle-1 decided to accentuate one of such special nights with a bonfire celebration. Students and teachers were looking forward to celebrating this special evening with great avidity since it had not been commemorated last year due to the initiation of the global pandemic. Thus, the huge fire pit in the middle of the courtyard, strings of crystal fairy lights gave the ambiance an incredible touch and created a fun-filled atmosphere. The principal colors were likely to be Red, Black, and Gold for the Bonfire, and everyone looked marvelous in their distinctive looks. Each class was requested to present something special for the whole school, and everyone did a splendid job in showcasing their talent and expressing their thoughtful ideas. Nevertheless, teachers of GMBK-1 were allocated titles as a token of appreciation for their devotion and adoration to the whole community. After that, our headmistress, Ms. Maliha came onto the stage to announce; “Miss Bonfire”, and “Mr. Bonfire” of the event, creating a feeling of curiosity before the announcement. This evening was made even more enduring and stimulating for students as the management invited a notable guest; Azeem Khan who is a professional singer. He rocked the entire stage with his melodious voice along with his band and added melody to the revelry atmosphere. The stage and the audience were full of commotion, bringing animation into the night. Lastly, the catering service of the event was just wondrous. There were a variety of dishes displayed on the counter from sugary sweets to freshly prepared barbeque.
It surely was a memorable night for Grade VIII’s and XI’s students as they had a chance to adore the most likable moments with their friends and teachers. The warmth of smiles and laughter indeed made this night momentous.
