Our Grade 6 students marked this Earth Day with a creative and powerful performance titled “Old Earth vs. New Earth.” ✨🌍 Through a thought-provoking act, they brought to life the urgent message of SDG Goal 13: Climate Action, reminding everyone that the choices we make today will shape the future of our planet. From images of polluted skies to dreams of green innovations, one important question echoed throughout their performance: What kind of Earth will we leave behind?

With heartfelt expressions and moving storytelling, our young environmentalists honoured Earth Day by showcasing their love for the planet and highlighting the urgent need to protect it. Their energy, passion, and commitment left the audience deeply inspired and hopeful for a greener tomorrow.

Adding to the spirit of the day, an exciting quiz challenge tested the students’ knowledge about Earth’s safety, security, and sustainability. The activity sparked awareness and ignited meaningful discussions, reinforcing the idea that every small action counts. Students also raised their voices against plastic pollution, using their creativity to inspire change and spread the message of environmental responsibility.

Beyond the performances and quizzes, our young eco-warriors explored seven interactive stations, each designed to ignite awareness and encourage planet-friendly habits:

Station 1: Pledge Wall – Becoming Earth’s Protectors
Students made heartfelt pledges to protect and nurture our planet. From saving water to planting trees, each promise added a leaf to the vibrant Pledge Wall, symbolizing hope and action.

Station 2: Eco-Thread Workshop – Turning Waste into Wonder
At this station, students creatively repurposed scraps and old materials into beautiful eco-crafts, learning firsthand how up-cycling can reduce waste and spark innovation.

Station 3: Kitchen Garden – Planting Seeds of Hope
Young hands dug into the soil, planting seeds and learning the importance of growing their own food. This hands-on experience reinforced the value of sustainable living and respect for nature.

Station 4: Art Poster – Voices for the Planet
Through vibrant and meaningful posters, students communicated powerful eco-messages, using art as a tool for advocacy and awareness.

Station 5: Recycle Corner – Everyday Eco-Habits
Students explored practical ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Fun activities at the Recycle Corner emphasized how simple daily habits can lead to significant positive change.

Station 6: Awareness Campaign – Spreading Green Wisdom
Our eco-champions shared useful eco-tips, promoting simple yet impactful actions everyone can take to help the environment.

Station 7: Badge-Making Booth – Wear Your Commitment
Students designed unique eco-badges, wearing them proudly as a symbol of their dedication to protecting our Earth.

Together, these activities created a vibrant and inspiring celebration of Earth Day, leaving everyone motivated to continue making planet-friendly choices. 🌱🌍
