The concepts of Mathematics are essential not only for the effective development of mental discipline but also play a crucial role in encouraging logical reasoning and mental rigor. It also facilitates the students in understanding other subjects that are being taught in schools such as Science and Geography.
However, students at GMBK-1 experienced an innovative combination of Art and Mathematics when they were asked to draw shapes and sketches using measurements, precision and other technical concepts. This activity not only allowed them to enjoy their Art class but also instilled in them the beauty of different perspectives and thinking out-of-the-box ideas and strategies.
The important results of Math integration into Art teaching are students’ increased motivation and curiosity in learning. Art integration in Math not only increases curiosity but aids in constructing a deeper understanding of Math concepts. It helps children to develop creative problem-solving skills. Our Students have designed patterns by following the line of symmetry and graph paper in their Visual art lesson.
