“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents”— Jane D. Hull
Parent-teacher meetings are a great way to discuss the student’s progress throughout the academic term and explain what they lack and what they could improve. On Saturday, 19th February 2022 GMBK-1 held a Parent-Teacher Meeting at school. This further makes it easier for the parents to discuss problems their child may face in studies and how the teacher might help the child.
Students were given circulars and there were allotted time slots for the parents to ensure the following of SOPs. At the school, parents were warmly welcomed and were helped to find their respective teachers by the members of the student council and other staff members due to which parents made their way to the classrooms smoothly and had a discussion about their children’s education. For parents waiting to meet the teachers, there were snacks being served outside.
This was a very successful PTM to start the new term off with and great feedback was received from the parents. Hopefully, we will continue to have such great parent-teacher meetings in the future.
