For me, it is more than just a hobby , it is a practice of patience and a source of comfort . I love it because it’s very unique and interesting. Every stitch is made with precision and hard work and has a bit of my heart. You choose colourful yarns to make awesome things! which you can gift to your family , friends and teachers! I love crocheting because it keeps me busy and hence reduces my screen time. I feel a sense of achievement after accomplishing any project. This is my third year of crocheting. I learnt it when I was 7 years old. One day my aunt was crocheting and I found it very interesting. She taught me some of the starter stitches like chain stitch, slip knot and double crochet. Gradually I started growing my skill and learnt new stitches like half double crochet, half single crochet and even trouble crochet . My first project was a three coloured shoulder purse. I also made a drawstring bag, keychains, baby whale, many coasters, Pakistan flag, chicks, rabbits, pillows etc. Best thing about this is we don’t need many things, just little yarn, hooks and stitch markers and you are good to go. Sharing my handmade creations with loved ones bring me so much joy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Twisted in Yarn\u00a0 Hello everyone, I am Urwah Khan of Grade V A and my hobby is crocheting.
