The Green Café – A Proud Culmination of
Grade 3’s PBL E-STEAM Journey
The Green Café was a vibrant and heart-warming culmination of the Grade 3 PBL E-STEAM project, bringing together learning, creativity, teamwork, and compassion in the most beautiful way. Throughout the term, students explored the world of healthy food, discovering its nutritional value, importance, and the role it plays in building strong bodies and active minds. What made this journey truly special was how they connected classroom learning with real-life experiences. With great excitement, our young learners stepped into the role of entrepreneurs as they planned and organized the grand Green Café event. Students brought a variety of healthy food items from home, set up their stalls with enthusiasm, and confidently interacted with their customers. They proudly shared the nutritional information of the food they served, explaining vitamins, minerals, and benefits in a way that showed how deeply they had understood their lessons.
The event became more than just a café—it turned into a celebration of responsibility and kindness. The students successfully raised a handsome amount of money, and instead of keeping it for themselves, they chose to donate it to support flood victims. This thoughtful act demonstrated empathy, community spirit, and a maturity far beyond their years. The Green Café became a shining example of how learning in school can shape character, ignite curiosity, and inspire generosity. It was truly a moment of pride for teachers, parents, and the entire school community as our Grade 3 students proved that even young hands and hearts can make a meaningful difference in the world.
