Celebrating Sportsmanship: Our Journey at the Inter-Cluster Cricket and Football Tournaments
Last week was an exciting time for our school as our talented young athletes proudly participated in the Inter-Cluster Cricket and Football Tournaments, held at the UBL Sports Complex and Siddique Memon Sports Complex. It was a week filled with energy, teamwork, and unforgettable moments on the field.
In the cricket tournament, four competitive teams participated, and our players stepped onto the pitch with confidence and enthusiasm. They competed in the semi-final round with great effort and determination. Although we were unable to secure a win and did not make it to the finals, the experience taught our students valuable lessons about perseverance, teamwork, and graceful sportsmanship.
Our football team delivered an inspiring performance throughout the tournament. With strong coordination and excellent defense, they won their semi-final match with an impressive 2–0 score, earning their well-deserved place in the finals. In the deciding match, they went head-to-head against Stadium Campus, showcasing skill, dedication, and a fighting spirit till the very last moment. Although the final match did not go in our favour, the team proudly brought home the Runners-Up Trophy, a testament to their hard work and commitment.
We applaud all our players for representing our school with pride, passion, and true sportsmanship. Their performance on and off the field reflects the values we strive to instill in every student—courage, teamwork, respect, and resilience. This tournament was more than just a competition; it was a memorable learning experience that has undoubtedly strengthened our teams and inspired many more young athletes.
