“Forever Young”

Memories follow me left and right,
In morning halls and classroom light,
I see your smiles, I hear your cheer,
Even when you are not near.

Like spring that melts the winter cold,
We made so many dreams unfold,
We learned, we laughed, we grew each day,
Now time is calling us away.

You taught me more than books and lines,
You helped my little heart to shine,
With every word, with every care,
You were always truly there.

Now we must walk a brand-new way,
But still I wish to softly say,
Thank you for the love you gave,
The kindest memories I will save.

We are forever young inside,
Like stars that never leave the sky,
Though we may go left and right,
Our friendship stays forever bright.

So this is not a final end,
You are my teacher, you are my friend,
In every spring that comes anew,
I’ll always carry part of you.
