“Mustafa Janay Rehmat Pe Laakho Salam”
12th Rabi-ul-Awal marks an important day for the Muslim community all around the globe. It is the day when our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born. On this auspicious day, festivities are observed every year. From the decoration of the mosques to the houses and markets, dazzling lights are seen everywhere. Gatherings are organized where Muslims recite Holy Quran and remember the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). People arrange mehfil-e-milaad at their homes to present “Nazrana-e-Aqeedat” to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Special prayers are also offered for the prosperity of Islam all around the world.
Keeping the Holy tradition alive, an annual Mehfil-e-Milad was held at Cambridge Campus Gulshan on 21st October 2022 to express love and gratitude to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The event was cherished by the melodious voices of our students who recited Hamd and Naat with zeal and fervor. Moreover, they also recalled the Seerat-un-Nabi and Aswa-e-Husna on this auspicious occasion.
The ceremony was further graced by the Naat-e-Rasool recited by our chief guest Mr. Shakir Veera and the prayers offered by Sir Javed. Finally, the management of Cambridge Campus Gulshan distributed scented flowers and sweets to the guests, staff and students who attended the mehfil.
