The Graduation Ceremony 2020-21
Since its inception the Beaconhouse School has always generously acknowledged its students’ academic achievements. Even during the COVID-19 ordeal through online classes we went an extra mile to ensure pleasing grades in CAIEs.
So to commemorate the success of the batch of 2020-21, the Cambridge Campus Gulshan arranged a Graduation Ceremony at the Campus on Friday, February 04, 2022.
The program started at 5 o’clock with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Then the teachers walked past the stage and received a heartwarming round of applause for their never-ceasing support to their students. Next, Ms Humaira Shahab, the Head of School, welcomed the students who had secured 1498 A*/A’s altogether.
First to come on the stage to receive their certificates and medals was a group of six valedictorians who had scored 9 A*, followed by 25 students who had scored 9 A’s. Followed them another group of 49 students with 8 A’s. Every group also had a group photo with the Senior Headmistress. In the queue were groups of 7 A’s (40), 6 A’s (31), and 5 A’s (22).
Every time their names were called out, there were vibrating cheers and claps. It will not be out of place to mention that the majority of these students had preferred to continue their journey towards further academic excellence with the Beaconhouse A Level College Program.
In her closing remarks, Ms Humaira Shahab highlighted the significance of hard work, consistency, and dedication in a student’s life, and wished them more successes in future. Later, the students and teachers were served refreshment and by 8 o’clock this graceful ceremony came to a smooth end.
