To lighten up our stress, our school announced a trip to Nuplex for a movie day, which felt really fun. We got the form to fill in if we wanted to go, along with the money. I asked my parents, and they allowed me, so I started waiting for that day to come. After one week, the day finally arrived. I packed my bag and put in some snacks to share with my friends.

I woke up early on time all by myself, which felt like an achievement because normally waking up early is a real task. I got ready and sat in the van to reach school right on time. I reached school on time, and we were assigned to stand in our lines. After getting my bag checked by the teacher, I waited for my turn to board the bus. It took ages for everyone to settle down on the bus. As soon as the bus started, everyone screamed at the top of their lungs while the teachers tried to quiet us down. We sang songs, talked a lot, and shared snacks. After almost fifteen minutes, we arrived at our venue, and my excitement kept rising. After the bus stopped, we got off line by line and stood in line again. Bags weren’t allowed inside, so we left them at the entrance. First, we went to the cafeteria to get popcorn and drinks for the movie. I had already decided to get a medium salted popcorn and a cold drink, but the line was so long that I worried I wouldn’t get a chance. When it was finally my turn, I got my food quickly and waited for my friends. Once we all had our snacks, we went into the hall and took our seats.

The movie started quite late, but the beginning of the movie was thrilling. It was about dinosaurs, and it seemed so real on the big screen with the loud sound. I loved the climax, and I was so into the movie that I forgot I was with my friends. During the interval, I decided to try a hot dog for the first time. We were sitting at the top, so going down was a real struggle, and by the time I got my hot dog, the movie was almost starting again. I hurried back up and joined my friends. When the movie ended, everyone left the hall, and our class teacher clicked our pictures. Then we exited the venue and got back on the bus. It was such an amazing day! I had so much fun and made so many memories.

Written by Dua Manzar 8-A After exams, we were all so tired and bored of our normal routine.
