Her mother came out of the house and asked,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"290\">\u201cDid you break the flowerpot?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"292\" data-end=\"334\">\u201cNnno, Mom, I have no idea,\u201d Emma replied.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"336\" data-end=\"578\">The next morning, Emma\u2019s mom was feeding the animals in the shed when Emma woke up. She went to the bathroom and was shocked to see something really weird. Her nose had grown really big and pointed like a witch\u2019s nose. She screamed in horror.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"622\">Her mom came running to her room and said,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"690\">\u201cOh my! What happened to your nose? It seems you lied to someone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"731\">Emma got scared and asked in confusion,<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"772\">\u201cDoes this happen to the ones who lie?\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"808\">\u201cYes, of course,\u201d her mom replied.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"810\" data-end=\"883\">\u201cI broke that flowerpot, Mom. But it was an accident,\u201d Emma told her mom.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"993\">Her mom smiled and pulled the rubber nose out, which she had fixed on Emma\u2019s nose while she was fast asleep.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1138\">Now Emma realized that she should not lie because mothers always find out the truth. She promised that she would never lie.
