Beaconhouse Gulshan Campus\u2019 Student Council Elections 2025: A Celebration of Leadership and Democracy<\/b><\/p>\n

On September 26th, 2025, Beaconhouse School-Gulshan Campus held their highly anticipated <\/span>Student Council Elections 2025-26<\/span><\/i>, where students across all grades participated with great enthusiasm and school spirit. The event celebrated not only leadership but also responsibility, confidence, and democratic values.<\/span><\/p>\n

From eager first graders to confident eighth graders, every student had the opportunity to step up, campaign, and cast their vote; embracing what it means to be a leader and an active member of the school community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grades 1\u20136: Prefect Elections Go Digital<\/b><\/h5>\n

Students from Grade 1 to Grade 6 contested for prefect positions, showing creativity, energy, and responsibility well beyond their age. Beaconhouse School-Gulshan Campus introduced e-voting for these roles, allowing students to cast their votes digitally in a safe, user-friendly environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

This digital process not only made voting more efficient but also gave younger students hands-on experience with how modern democratic systems work. Campaigns included colorful posters, creative slogans, and heartfelt speeches delivered in classrooms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Campaigning With Passion and Purpose<\/b><\/h5>\n

In the days leading up to the elections, students across all grades engaged in energetic and enthusiastic campaigning. From designing vibrant posters and catchy slogans to delivering speeches and rallying support during recess, the school was filled with a contagious buzz. The spirit of friendly competition and teamwork was evident everywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grade 7: Vice Captains & Deputy Heads<\/b><\/h5>\n

Grade 7 students ran for the roles of House Vice Captains and Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl. These elections were conducted in person at school, offering candidates a platform to deliver speeches and connect with voters face-to-face.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their campaigns were filled with ideas on teamwork, school improvement, and inclusivity. The entire experience helped students grow in confidence, public speaking, and collaborative skills.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grade 8: Head Boy, Head Girl & House Captains<\/b><\/h5>\n

The most senior students, Grade 8, contested for the esteemed roles of Head Boy, Head Girl, and House Captains. These in-school elections reflected the seriousness of the positions, with proper voting setups and formal presentations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates inspired the school with speeches focused on leadership, service, and unity. Their presence, maturity, and readiness to lead made a strong impression on both peers and teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Blended Model of Elections<\/b><\/h5>\n

This year\u2019s elections successfully combined traditional in-school voting with modern e-voting, creating a balanced, accessible, and engaging democratic process. This hybrid model allowed students to experience the best of both worlds while ensuring fairness and inclusivity for all.<\/span><\/p>\n
