With the right strategies, every child can perform calmly and confidently.

SMART STUDY TECHNIQUES

Study in 25-minute power bursts with 5-minute breaks to keep the brain fresh. Encourage children to teach what they learn to a toy, sibling, or even the wall — teaching strengthens memory. Using color coding (blue for headings, green for key points, red for important facts) helps information stay longer in the mind.

EYE MOVEMENT FOCUS TECHNIQUES

Simple eye movements can reset attention. Slowly move eyes left to right, then up and down, and blink fast for a few seconds. Tracing an infinity sign (∞) with the eyes while breathing deeply improves concentration and reading speed.

RELEASING DISTRACTING EMOTIONS

Before study or exams, children can close their eyes, breathe deeply, and gently say:

“I release fear, tension, and distraction.”

Imagining worries placed in a balloon and letting it float away helps the mind feel lighter and calmer.

EXAM CONFIDENCE ANCHOR

To reduce performance anxiety, recall a happy or proud moment, feel it fully, and press the thumb and index finger together while breathing deeply. Practicing this daily creates a powerful confidence anchor that can be used in the exam hall.

FOCUS & ALERTNESS TECHNIQUES

When the mind wanders, use the 5-4-3-2-1 method to bring attention back to the present. Staying hydrated, eating fruit or nuts, and studying in good light keeps the brain active and alert.

EXAM DAY TIPS

Sleep well, revise lightly, breathe before starting, begin with easy questions, and return to difficult ones later. A calm inner message like “I am calm, prepared, and capable” makes a real difference.

FINAL MESSAGE

Exams do not define a child’s worth — they reflect practice and mindset. With calm emotions, sharp focus, and self-belief, every student can shine.

Written by: Ameer Hamza (Class 4D) As my mom is a psychiatrist so I have learnt that most exam… Continue reading EXAM MAGIC: Smart Study, Sharp Focus & Fear-Free Exams

[1

post-142","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized","entry
["GET
