Published on: 10th October, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n Written by: Zoya Fahad<\/em><\/p>\n Our students shine as Eco-friendly heroes on World Cleanup day.<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cCleanliness is not just a habit, it is a reflection of our responsibility towards the planet we call home.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n On <\/span>September 20, 2025<\/b>, the students of <\/span>Beaconhouse School System Gulshan Campus<\/b> joyfully celebrated <\/span>World Cleanup Day<\/span><\/i> at <\/span>Jamshed Ansari Park<\/b>. With great enthusiasm and team spirit, students from <\/span>Grades 6 to 8<\/b> came together to make a meaningful difference in their community.<\/span><\/p>\n The event was a vibrant reflection of <\/span>Beaconhouse\u2019s mission towards sustainable development and environmental stewardship<\/b>, as students actively participated in cleaning the park, collecting litter, and spreading awareness about the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and green. Through this initiative, our young learners took a step towards achieving the <\/span>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/b> \u2014 particularly <\/span>Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production)<\/b> and <\/span>Goal 13 (Climate Action)<\/b>. Teachers guided the students in understanding how small acts of care can lead to long-term environmental impact. Discussions on <\/span>waste management<\/b>, <\/span>recycling<\/b>, and <\/span>eco-friendly habits<\/b> helped instill values of responsibility and sustainability in their everyday lives.<\/span><\/p>\n This engaging activity was not only about cleanliness; it was a celebration of community spirit, civic engagement, and global citizenship. The smiles, teamwork, and sense of purpose shown by our students truly embodied the Beaconhouse vision of nurturing <\/span>responsible, conscious, and active global citizens<\/b> who care deeply for their environment.<\/span><\/p>\n The day concluded with reflections and a renewed pledge to keep our world cleaner, greener, and better for generations to come.
