The Life of a Student
Alarm clock screams, I hit “snooze,”
Five more times—I always lose.
Bag is packed with hope and fear,
Plus one pen that barely works this year.
Homework due? Oh yes, today.
I almost did it… yesterday.
My brain is tired, my eyes are sore,
Yet somehow there’s a test—one more.
Lunch arrives with a moment of peace,
Five loud laughs, all smiling with ease.
Friends make jokes, the world feels right,
Until the teacher says,
“Marked work!” — goodnight.
Exams attack, my notes look wild,
Written by a very confused child.
But then results? A happy surprise,
Or at least I passed, let’s celebrate with fries!
So yes, it’s chaos, tears, and stress,
But also jokes with a late-night mess.
Student life may drive us mad,
Yet somehow, these days become memories we’re glad we had.
