Exams can sometimes feel stressful, especially when there is a lot of material to prepare. However, studying does not always have to mean sitting with books for hours. With the right techniques and a good study routine, preparation can become much easier and more effective.

The first thing I find helpful is making a study timetable. Instead of trying to study every subject at once, I divide my time between different subjects. I also give more time to topics that I find difficult. This helps me stay organised and prevents me from leaving everything until the last minute.

Another useful technique is active learning. Simply reading a chapter again and again may not always help us remember it. I prefer to make short notes, highlight important points, create questions, and test myself without looking at the book. Teaching a topic to someone else is also a great way to check whether I really understand it.

Practice is also very important, especially for subjects such as Mathematics and Science. Solving questions and practising past exercises can help us understand our mistakes and improve before the actual exam.

Taking short breaks is another important part of studying. After studying for some time, I take a short break to relax before starting again. I also try to keep my phone and other distractions away while studying so that I can concentrate better.

Finally, I believe that sleep and a positive attitude matter just as much as studying. Staying awake very late before an exam can make us tired and less focused. Getting enough rest helps us feel fresh and ready to remember what we have learned.

Exams are not only about memorising information; they are also about understanding, practising, managing time, and staying calm.

Study smart, stay organised, believe in yourself, and let your preparation do the talking!
