To inculcate the love of pets and to celebrate our furry friends, we marked 3rd March 2022 as the Pet Fest at GKG1.
A wide array of pets was brought to the school by the children including fishes and turtles with some gorgeous angora rabbits and exotic birds’ family, which truly mesmerized the children
The children were beyond ecstatic to see an enthralling display of pets in the school. Each class was given a time slot to visit the entire pet display and relish some fascinating moments along with their classmates. The Pet Fest encouraged the children about focusing on the special relationship pets hold in their lives and pampering them.
The focus of the pet day was to relate the theme of Animals with real life experiences and instill an instinct of care and warmth towards pets amongst our children. Pets are also a perfect way to teach children about responsibilities and helps them become empathetic towards others. The entire day was all about appreciating and celebrating the wonderful pets in our lives and enjoying the activities.
The Pet Fest ended in high spirits and it goes without saying that our children had a paw-some time!
