The world of future professionals came alive at GKG 1 on Friday, the 26th of Nov’ 2021 where we celebrated International Children’s Day with an enthralling theme – our prodigious Professionals of the Future.
The premise behind the theme was to accustom children to the vast variety of professions they can choose from in the future and familiarize themselves with some interesting career options. Moreover, this theme was diligently curated to give children the real feel of the special roles they will be taking in their life ahead. The students from every class and level were dressed up to the nines in their favorite profession and it was a sight to behold seeing the young stars of GKG1 as budding professionals. The tremendous efforts put in by the parents were highly commendable.
Every area of the school was assigned a particular profession to create a life-size feel to it. Professionals included Astrologers, Artists, Armed Forces, Chefs, and Doctors to name a few. The magical elements included the extravagant setups with an interesting portrayal of roles and duties performed by each professional. Each theme had its respective hands-on activities for the children to relish. The activities enabled the children to learn through real-world experiences with an exploration of all their five senses to know exactly what duties and roles different professionals perform.
From sandwich making to hair bar, from pottery to sing along, arts and crafts to movie time, each activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the children. And not to forget, some enchanting photo booth set up with every theme for a picture-perfect experience!
The children thoroughly enjoyed the event and the day ended with high spirits. The successful event was proof of the relentless efforts put together by the entire team of GKG1.
