Defence day is celebrated on 6th of September every year in Pakistan to honour and remember the sacrifices made by our armed forces during 1965 war. This year students of Latifabad Primary II Campus celebrated the Defense day with great devotion and passion. There was a aura of supreme patriotism all around the school and students. The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by the impressive speeches by School Head, teachers and students on the significance of Defense day.
Students paid tribute to the martyrs by singing national songs and saying beautiful pieces of poetry in the remembrance of the national heroes. Students wore special uniforms representing the armed forces of Pakistan and participated in different activities. The students were seen keenly observed by the performances of the participants and learnt a great deal about the dignity of this significant day.
