Every year, on 5th February, we are reminded of the atrocities faced by our Kashmiri brothers in their struggle for independence. On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, a.k.a ‘Youm-e-Yakjehti-e-Kashmir‘, the young scholars of Beaconhouse Latifabad Primary II empathized and expressed their solidarity with the Kashmiris by organizing a special morning assembly in its honor. The entire fraternity of LP II observed a minute silence and prayed for the freedom of Kashmir and the progression of our country, Pakistan. The students designed eye-catching posters and embellished them with heart-stirring messages to exhibit their support for the people of Kashmir and to assure that we still stand united with them. Children watched an informative documentary revealing the struggle of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters, who have been striving for freedom for so long. Let’s pray for the independence of this “Heaven on Earth ”.
