To create this quality in our students, English teachers in grade 4 had done an excellent job to involve students in a descriptive writing activity.
Students were presented popcorn and were asked to come up with as many descriptive words as possible. What makes it easy is to use sensory details while describing something.
This practice in class creates in mind a vast vocabulary that will never leave the students out of words when they speak.
