Our syllabi are filled with how well we can take care of our planet. Often we only study the ways but do not practice them. What good is learning if it is not practiced?
A Group of Little Stars (Students from Beacon House Latifabad Primary- 1 Hyderabad) visited social forestry nursery Latifabad today. Students were briefed and disseminated with first-hand knowledge about the importance of trees and their positive impact on the environment and also shared facts and figures of forestry resources in Sindh including ongoing projects of plantations. Students were so excited to see the plants and they were also provided the chance to plant saplings by their own hands which doubled the joy and happiness of their exposure visit. In the end, students extended their words of gratitude for this informative visit.
To help regain the greenery of our planet, it is essential to grow plants and save whatever little is left of them.
