“Surely good deeds erase bad deeds”
Al-QURAN 11:114
Ensuring that our students are able to make conscious decisions for smart and healthy choices today and for the future is part of Beaconhouse learner profile. To promote these values “Achhi baat” is conducted on every Friday assembly which give students awareness of good deeds. It is something which please Allah Almighty and He has promised forgiveness and a great reward for it.
Starting with School head and all teachers in the first term and in second term students become confident enough to avail this opportunity and talk about it during Friday assembly.
Sharing the importance of morning greetings (Salam), significance of cleanliness in our daily life, use of courtesy words, valuing diversity and respecting differences etc. These all are the attributes of a good human being.
Notable behavioral changes are seen in students with this continuous practice. These weekly sessions play a pivotal role in the character building and holistic development of a child’s personality. This not only helps in individual grooming but also improves the school culture in terms of respecting diversity, helping others and taking responsibility of themselves and the surroundings.
Everyone in our surroundings needs act of kindness, it’s a great way to motivate our children to be kinder than they need to be. The simplest thing which can make the most significant impact such as a single hug or a compliment which cost nothing but is worth more than anything in the world.
