Language proficiency is considered as a symbol of professional and personal success and a persuasive tool. Learning multiple languages can be beneficial for cognitive development. Beaconhouse Kindergarten Campus Hyderabad considers Urdu language an integral part of our students’ learning. Every year Urdu week is observed in the second week of November to promote our National Language and literature.
This year Urdu week began with a tribute to the greatest Urdu poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal on November, 9th 2021 with an adorable performance by students of KG and grade One. It was to make our students aware of his poems written especially for children. With his poetry he enlightened the future path for many generations as his contribution to instill religious and moral values in our children.
Urdu Nazm goey and Kahani goey competitions were arranged during the week. Students participated with their utmost passion and enthusiasm. After a prolonged gap in on-site schooling, it was a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves, face the audience and recite poetries eloquently and confidently.
Mothers not only appreciated the efforts by the school but also participated alongside their children, which boost the confidence of our young learners. Students and Mothers received certificates for their participation.
