Our Grade 1 students beautifully celebrated Peace Day through a thoughtful and meaningful role play. The performance began with a few children representing war, anger, and noise showing how these negative emotions can disturb the calm and happiness around us. They acted out scenes of quarrels and loud chaos, making everyone realize how quickly peace can be lost when we let negativity take over.
On the other side, a group of students took on the roles of love, smile, and friendship. They entered the stage spreading warmth, kindness, and joy showing how simple gestures of care can bring peace back into our hearts and communities. The contrast between both groups sent a strong message: peace begins with us, through the choices we make every day.
The audience was touched by the innocence and clarity with which the young learners delivered this powerful message. The activity encouraged everyone to reflect on the importance of living with harmony and empathy. Through their performance, our little peace ambassadors reminded us that even the smallest smile can make the world a more peaceful place.
