Treating people with respect on daily basis is one of the most important things a leader can do. The ability to work with team is a skill set on its own. When people work together as a team, they not only become more trusted in work but also, they become more invested in each other.
Our school’s focus on team building is evolutionary and produces revolutionary results through continuous improvement in our practices.
It is part of our unsaid norm inside the school to find opportunities in challenges, small moments of joy during tough schedules and motivation in deadlines. There is a feeling of family inclusion and interdependence that creates a bond between the staff under a strong leadership.
Our bonding goes beyond the boundaries of this building, we carry it with a smile on our face and memories of “end of term bonfires” and “end of year dinners”. Exhausting days of result preparation become so much fun with winter soups and special delicacies. Our regular meetings, PD sessions, discussions, informal get togethers add up to the treasury of memories we make in our professional lives.
The challenges that we face are the experiences to cherish for a lifetime. School is not merely a workplace for us it’s where we spend most of our life’s energy and time. Our school is something that motivates us, inspires us and it’s something that keeps us very much alive.
And this proves that when interpersonal relationships flourish, employees tend to feel more loyalty to the organization and are willing to buy into the values and vision that underlie your business.
We are linked not only professionally but emotionally as well.
