In an event like Junior Athletics children get the chance to show leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, as they interact with other students and face new challenges. This would encourage children to work together to achieve the same goal. Annual Junior Athletics events for all levels were held in the month of December, which were a tremendous success. In the days leading up to the event, our young athletes diligently rehearsed for March Past, P.E. Display, games and the races.

The students’ parade was in synchrony to the tune played and each move had been carefully choreographed and was executed to perfection by the children. Cheering by the mothers was there all along.

Pre-Nursery and Nursery students adorably raced on the tracks mesmerizing the audience. Kindergarteners competed with their utmost effort and proved to be resilient beaconites. And last but not the least our Class one students had team building games which were fun and creative way to show their sportsman’s spirit.

The most exciting part of these events was when the students happily applauded for their mothers and teachers who participated enthusiastically in races.

Children’s jubilation was evident when they were awarded gold, silver, bronze and runner up medals.
