Protecting Our Little Ones

MR & OPV Vaccination Completed Successfully

This week marked an important milestone for our school community. With the support of the District Health Office, our children aged 0–5 years received their Measles–Rubella (MR) and Oral Polio (OPV) vaccinations—and we are happy to share that the entire process went smoothly.

As teachers, we see our youngest learners grow, explore, and play every day. Their laughter brightens our classrooms, and their safety is always our top priority. That is why this vaccination campaign felt especially meaningful. Knowing that our little ones are now protected from preventable diseases gives us all a sense of relief and gratitude.

The health team arrived early in the morning, fully prepared and professional. Parents had already been informed, so everything moved with calm coordination. One by one, children received their vaccines with gentle care. Some were curious, some were brave, and some held a teacher’s hand for comfort—but all of them walked away protected and safe.

Why This Matters

Diseases like measles, rubella, and polio can spread quickly and pose serious risks to young children. Vaccination helps ensure that:

  • Our classrooms remain healthy

  • Children can continue learning without disruptions

  • The wider community stays protected

This campaign wasn’t just a medical requirement—it was a shared commitment to our children’s future.

A Big Thank You

We extend heartfelt appreciation to the District Health Office team, our staff, and all parents for their cooperation. Together, we created a healthier, safer environment for every child who steps into our school.
