Celebrating Emotions, Expressions & Our Special Bond

Pre-Nursery C had a heartwarming and joy-filled day as our little learners participated in an engaging activity based on the theme “Me and My Teacher.” Under the gentle guidance of Miss Ifra and Miss Bushra, the children explored emotions, expressions, and the beautiful bond they share with their teachers.

😊 Exploring Facial Features & Emotions

Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, students learned about different facial features—eyes, nose, lips, ears—and how these help us show feelings.
Children practiced expressing simple emotions such as:
• 😀 Happy
• 😔 Sad
• 😲 Surprised

By looking at mirrors, picture cards, and each other, they discovered how facial expressions change with different feelings.

🎨 Creative & Playful Learning

The activity was filled with creativity and fun! Children used crafts, drawing, and role-play to express emotions and understand how faces can “talk” without words.
Laughter echoed around the room as they mimicked expressions and shared how they feel with their teachers.

💛 Strengthening the Teacher–Student Bond

Beyond learning, the session helped nurture trust, warmth, and confidence. Children felt comfortable expressing their emotions and enjoyed meaningful interactions with their teachers—building the strong foundation needed in Early Years.

🌱 A Beautiful Learning Experience

“Me and My Teacher” offered much more than a classroom activity—it helped children:
• Build emotional awareness
• Strengthen communication
• Develop social-emotional understanding
• Feel connected, valued, and loved

A big well done to our adorable Pre-Nursery C students for participating with so much excitement and joy!
