✏️ Tracing the Number 1
Students traced the number on worksheets, sand trays, and tactile cards. The repeated movement helped them develop correct number formation and strengthen pre-writing skills.
🔎 Number Hunt Adventure
A classroom number hunt turned learning into a game! Students searched for hidden Number 1 cards placed around the room, sharpening their observation skills and building number recognition.
✍️ Writing Practice
Using crayons, markers, or finger tracing, the little ones practiced writing 1 independently—developing confidence and control.
🌱 Why These Activities Matter
Early math learning becomes powerful when it’s hands-on. Through stacking, tracing, hunting, and writing, children connected Number 1 to real actions, building a strong foundation for future numeracy.
Kudos to our Pre-Nursery mathematicians for making this Number 1 day so joyful and exciting!
