Grandparents play a key role in nurturing their grandchildren’s lives, offering support and guidance as they grow up. They also provide reassurance and comfort for parents, who may be worried about their child’s health or development. Grandparents play a big part in shaping their grandchildren’s future by encouraging them to stay active and healthy.

On Wednesday, November 2, our Early Years students celebrated a fun-filled Grandparents Day to acknowledge, honour, and show their love and gratitude to their beloved grandparents. It was a beautiful day at the Jubilee Campus.

The day was marked with a variety of activities that kept our young at heart honourable guests happy and well entertained. The day began with a special assembly mindfully planned with an intention to put them in the limelight. It was indeed a great privilege and honour. A special assembly was held and grandparents participated by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, they offered special Dua for the children and also sang famous songs of their time by Alamgir and Ahmed Rushdie. Last but not the least they sang the famous Baby Shark song for their grandchildren! Our little ones were thrilled to see their grandparents on stage!

The grandparents also shared their childhood mischiefs when they were in school and also shared some anecdotes with their younger selves, their grandchildren. One of the grandfathers prayed for the goodwill and prosperity of our children and school.

Later, the grandparents were accompanied by our students and spent some quality time in their classrooms where they did a variety of interesting activities with our students.

All children were thrilled and extremely excited to see their grandparents with them in their school. Their joy cannot be described in words.

The highlight of the day were the cute props used by the students with their grandparents for a special photo at our custom- designed photo booth. The day ended with optimism and positivity for all those who were part of the event, and left a lasting impression on all of us.
